  • TESE : Testicular sperm extraction
  • It involves a surgical biopsy of the testis to obtain sperm.
  • TESA : Testicular sperm aspiration
  • It is a procedure performed by inserting a needle in the testis and aspirating fluid and tissue with negative pressure.
  • Both are performed in men with azoospermia to obtain sperm which is then used for ICSI
